Sheaf Poetry Festival takes place over nine days in May at various venues in Sheffield, many of which are part of Sheffield Hallam University’s city campus.
The festival launches on Friday 17 May with a special event at Upper Chapel, and continues that weekend with a busy programme of readings, performances and workshops, including poets such as Andrew McMillan, Imtiaz Dharker, Raymond Antrobus and Denise Riley. The following week features a range of evening events, including a special night with Wordlife at Abbeydale Picture House on the Tuesday. The festival draws to a close on Saturday 25 May with a Longbarrow Press poetry walk and a poetry film night.

Print copies of the 24-page brochure will be available from many Sheffield venues from late April (including Sheffield Libraries, Blackwells, and The Showroom). Any changes to the advertised programme (where known in advance) will be posted here.
